Four Foundations of Mindfulness: 5 Weeks Course
When: Thursdays, 6 June to 4 July 2019, 7.30 – 8.45 pm

This course will be an introduction and review of meditation practices in relation to the teaching on the four foundations of mindfulness. It is suitable for absolute beginners and for experienced meditators alike. The first evening will be focused on exploring the meaning of the word mindfulness in the Buddhist meditation context. The following four evenings will be dedicated to one of the four foundations of mindfulness.
This is a practical meditation course. The intention is to meditate together rather than engage in academic discussion. Teaching style will be experiential. Information will be shared through guided practice followed by time for Q&A.
Cost: We follow the Buddhist tradition of generosity (dana). Participants are invited to contribute to the financial viability of offering such courses according to ability and appreciation. You are welcome to make a contribution towards the course online or in person.
