The word mindfulness entered our conversation vocabulary in such a big way, I thought it would be a good idea to start the Four Foundations of Mindfulness series by exploring what mindfulness might mean in the context of Buddhist insight meditation practice.
This day is one of five day retreats exploring the four foundations of mindfulness. You are welcome to join any or all of the days. The instructions will be given with reference to Analayo’s book Satipatthana Meditation, A Practice Guide. Analayo’s book is linked with recorded guided meditation instructions so it will be possible to take the day’s theme into your practice, treat the days as an opportunity to sit with like minded people or as a one-off taster.
We will explore the meaning of the word mindfulness with experiential information sharing, guided and silent meditation and discussion. Suitable for all.
