Quaker meeting house, 87 Park St, Bridgend CF31 4AZ

The meeting house is a 10 minute walk from Bridgend railway station, and about 5 minutes drive from the M4.  There is limited parking at the venue, and you may need to park in nearby streets. There are plenty of chairs, and some mats and cushions are provided. It is lovely venue with a garden to walk in and a conservatory for lunch.

The Pales LD1 5UH
The Pales is the oldest Quaker meeting house in continuous use in Wales. It is a lovely thatched building in which silence has been cultivated for centuries. There is a meeting room where we sit and another room with a wonderful wood burner where we have lunch.

There are plenty of chairs available. Please bring your own meditation cushion. We place felt carpets on the floor but we find that it is not soft enough for some people. If you are planning to sit on a cushion you might want to bring an additional blanket to place under your cushion.

The Pales is high up in the Radnor Hills. Bring layers, and waterproofs, particularity if you are intending to walk outside. The garden is lovely so it is likely you will be moved to do outdoors walking meditation.

Directions are available on The Pales website.
